Shoulda Practiced Avoidance

Lost the rest of my br the last few days and not too happy with myself for it. I cant always blame iton running bad. Sure i was running bad and seem like i cant win anyrace either, but that should only account for a downswing not losing my whole roll. Although i am happy with how i have been playing recently feeling near best ive been for awhile, im definitely not happy with the way i have managed my money and what games i have played. Probly gonna deposit some later this weekend and might play the vip tourneys tomorrow and hope for a score and roll builder.

A Short Update

Havent posted in awhile. Gonna be short and to the point. I lost my br of about 200 last week. Took 5 days off then deposited $500 accidentally on Monday. Meant to put $250 on but thought it didnt go thru at first so did it again then boom $500 in my account all at once. Probly a good thing tho becuasse i had plenty of room to play games i wanted to play. Got a little live sweat with technical difficulties from bpmst2 but got some good input from the few things we went over. Since then have been very in control of nearly all my games and am up $550. Cashing out the original $500 for Christmas money and such.

PlatinumStar!!!

So i have now made platinumstar for the first time ever and with a week to spare...i have been playing quite a bit. My bankroll took a hit from buying bpmst2's coaching fundamentals powerpoitns/running like shit in 18 man turbos/being retarded late at night and losing $115 hus against sharkscoped fish...shouldnt even be waiting in the $115s scoping them gotta just stick to my stakes where just about everyones a fish. Have $175 in my online br right now. Im positive i can workwith this and get back to a decent roll around 4 or 5 hundo. Then start playing some mid stakes tourneys again as i was getting pretty deep in nearly every real mtt i played. Not the 180 man turbos god im a fish at those.

In The Swing of Things

Today went pretty well at the tables. I started out the day by playing the $16.50 turbo mtt. Got pretty deep and then busted out when utg shoves his big stack, i pick up QQ on the button with a medium stack call, flop A im out in 43rd of about 2400 people made a small profit obv not as nice as the 6k first place but oh well. Ive decided that im no longer gonna play any turbo 180 man sngs. I just advanced searched myself in them and guess what im a fishbowl...lol. As much as i know how to profitably play them, i really just dont play enough at once for the variance to even out plus i usually just tilt half way through from another game. This happened twice to me with top 10 stacks in the middle stages today. Im just over them. Gonna play hu sngs as well as 18 man turbo sngs and a few lower-mid stake mtts except the hu tourney which i think is completley garbage. Hopefully take down the silverstar VIP tourney tomorrow haha. Also I am only about 1300 vpps away from platinum star. I should be able to make it pretty easily and this would be the first time i would accomplish that as i fell short by about 300 last month...either way these last 2 months is the most volume ive ever put in. Not been too productive but think im started to find my groove.

BR Management...Really?

I was playing poker today having a pretty solid day up about 260. Then lost 3 of 4 $33 omaha heads ups against a player who i really didnt think was that great. After losing those couple games i got pretty heated for a second and decided i was gonna play a $115 hu with a bankroll of only $440. I kept sharkscoping opponents and after about 8 players all solid regulars im guessing realized i shouldnt be doing this. Something just clicked. Even if i think i have an edge, is that edge bigger than the risk im taking of playing with 1/4 of my roll? Definitely not. Probably shouldnt even be playing $33s. Gonna try my hardest to stay within the $22 limits. I truly believe that br management and tilt control are the only things holding me back from being a solid winning player. Im gonna strive to play within my limits and never just give up always try my hardest to win. Ive played so many games i should have seen nearly every situation and i feel as though my hand reading skills are very high but when tilted i dont even try to put an opponent on a hand i just try to win every hand no matter how blatantly obvious it is that they have the nuts. Gl at the tables.

Fingers Crossed

Put that $250 back on that i just cashed out. Hopefully I can play/run good and not tilt away my money. Gonna play the $22 hu tourney today, would be nice if i could get 8 setups and take it down haha.

I Mean...WTF?!?!?!

Running sooooooooooo bad...lost my roll today. Lost the first 3/4 of it on some sick shit i mean i dont even know what people are doing and how it working but wtf. Then obv tilted away the rest although still didnt get it in any situations where i was crushed. Then tried to get some T$ with the 280 fpp hyper turbo sattys. Wow im goign insane lost A5 to 89, A9 to A5, JJ to K7. Then in the last one i did 3 people left two get tickets. Me and button have same amount then there is a big stack and im in BB. Button shoves A5 and beats big stacks QQ so i dont get a ticket right there, then im in BB with KK big stack shoves i call and lose to 87. Not just running bad by losing my own hands but having other people suck out to make me lose. Definitely gonna take a break till the weekend and play the VIP tourneys and the Joe Cada tourney. Still have enough fpps for a sunday mill satty so gonna try that out too. Till then gonna try not to break anything im so fucking mad right now and gonna be playing ball all week.

Decision Making

So basically i was having a break even last couple days becuase of one late night where i lost half my roll when i was nearly blacked out drunk and then another tilt session the next day. Luckily when im actually focused and relaxed i crush nearly all the games i play. Today was having a decent day a couple hundred then decided to play omaha cash and lost all that back, then decided to play a 4 man $55 sng with bpmst2 and one of his partners regged. Obviously a bad decision when i know bpmst2 is a solid winning player who i might even get some coaching from soon, and his partner obviously someone he has faith in to beat those games. Donked out first round to neither of those two then didnt think and played a $60 18 man and lost. Now back to grinding $11 omaha heads ups till i get my roll back to $300. Hopefully i learned my lesson for the 1000th time.
Gl out there, other_88.

Failure

Well the plan i had went out the window pretty quick as i was playing $110 heads ups and turbo 180 mans. Was playing in a tilt haze early on and started out down $425 but got back in a good mindset, grinded out some $22 hus and 4 mans and won one $110 to end the day up about $10. Hopefully tomorrow ill have some structure in whati do and i can get on a good start.

Start from Scratch

Lately ive been running up my account and then tilting really bad late at night and blowing hundreds at a time in higher stakes omaha cash games. I still have my original bankroll doubled although i blew nearly 600 last night in omaha...WTF?!?!?! Anyways im gonna cash out the original deposit so im freerolling and begin the rebuild from $250. Im gonna try to stick to the plan of playing the $22 heads ups mixed with a few $11 And $4 180 mans and the nightly $27.50 tourney if i feel up forit. No turbo tourneys anymore. Half the time those are what tilt me into losing money even though they are the lowest stake i play. Once i get to 1K ill start playing some $33 heads ups and go on from there. Since im not in need of moeny at the moment im going to cash a reasonable amount of what i have made those 2 weeks and also leave enough for my bankroll to be padded every other friday.
